Thanksgiving in Sedona
Another season is upon us to give thanks. A few of our hard-working Orchards Inn team members have shared some of the things they will give thanks for this year.
- “Spending our days surrounded with majestic views is amazing.” – Gary, General Manager
- “Interesting and Fun Visitors from around the world.” – Gary, General Manager
- “I am grateful to live and work in a place with such positive energy.” – Peter, Engineering
- “My drive to work is beautiful, the guests are very kind, and we all love the location.” – Mario, Housekeeping
If you find yourself in Sedona this Thanksgiving, there are a few options on how to spend your day. While hiking, mountain bike riding, art gallery hopping, jeep touring, and shopping the unique boutiques are all wonderful ways to give thanks in Sedona, we have a few others to add to the list.
The 8th Annual Turkey Trot
The Turkey Trot is a 5K put on by the Sedona Running Company on Thanksgiving morning. It is a fun run starting and ending at Posse Ground Park with Pumpkin Pie served at the finish line. There is even an Iron Turkey Challenge, which involves running (or walking) the entire race carrying your Thanksgiving turkey.
89Agave Cantina Thanksgiving Menu
Come for the margaritas, stay for the pecan pie! 89Agave will serve a traditional pri fixe menu from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Thanksgiving. However, if you’re looking for something a little less traditional, the full Sonoran Mexican menu will be available…so you can be thankful for enchiladas!
L’Auberge de Sedona Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet
L’Auberge, our sister property also in uptown Sedona, will serve a full brunch including breakfast and lunch classics and traditional Thanksgiving fare…not to missed will be the dessert station with 9+ delectable desserts. Brunch will be served from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m., reservations are highly recommended. As long as the weather is nice, seating will be creekside for a one-of-a-kind Sedona experience.
L’Auberge Tasting Menu Dinner
A Thanksgiving tasting menu dinner will be served on Thursday 11/23/17 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. with five courses designed by Executive Chef Michael O’Dowd to give appreciation to the season. Reservations are required for this special feast.
Wishing you and yours a beautiful Thanksgiving, with grateful hearts and full bellies!
